There is no room for mistakes; the UEFA Champions are now only two games away of knowing which teams will qualify for the 2010 Final in Madrid.
Both Barcelona and Lyon, in this case the home teams, need to overcome their first leg defeats, but it won’t be easy, it won’t be easy at all.

Lyon vs. Bayern Munich (0-1) - Tuesday

Neither of these teams performed at their best during Leg 1, but Bayern Munich has a playmaker in Arjen Robben and he was the difference in the first game, no question.
I expect a better game between these two on Tuesday, but in the end, the Germans have shown they are a strong squad away from home, as they eliminated Fiorentina and Manchester United because of their ability to score away goals.
Bayern seem to be more comfortable thinking they could put the home team in trouble by scoring goals in any given field, and that’s a big advantage for the team run by Louis Van Gaal.

FC Barcelona vs. Inter Milan (1-3) - Wednesday

As I told you in my first piece last week, not always the best team wins, and that’s exactly what happened to Italy.
The Inter Milan’s style of playing suits them perfectly against Barcelona, that’s why the Spanish couldn’t answer back in Game One like they always do. Inter is known for their style of waiting in their own territory and then counterattacking to make damage with fast players in open spaces. We can expect the same kind of game in match two.
However, soccer betting fans must remember the Jose Mourinho coaching style is unpredictable. In the round of 16, he went to London to pressure Chelsea and made them commit so many errors that the Italians ended up with an easy victory.
Barcelona is cleverer than Chelsea and probably won’t commit that kind of mistakes, but it is a fact that Inter has what it takes to get into the final, especially considering they have a 3-1 lead so far.
